'INSUHTBP' Comic Status UpdateHello everyone! I just wanted to update everyone who cares about the comic. I know it's been awhile since the last update, but just know that I'm still working on it. My semester is over, now there is so much time for activities! I have the day off today from work so I'll be spending my day working on the next page ~~and watching the new xbox reveal!!~~ I want to thank you all for being so patient and reading this little comic. You're so awesome!

Web Tools: Clipping Magic!

The above image says it all! The geniuses at ClippingMagic.com created this wonderful tool where users can upload their own images and key out the backgrounds.
There is a very simple concept behind it, simply color the general area you want to keep green, then the areas you want to remove red. A yellow line will then outline your selection, giving you the ability to further refine your selection if you arent happy.

Personally, I find the tool to be quite acceptable. It for the most part removes the correct background for any image I upload. With a little fine tuning it can be perfect in seconds. Now keep in mind, this tool is only in alpha, but it is still a wonderful web-based tool that works as advertised!
Now true this is no replacement for Adobe's Photoshop, but for those of you dont own Photoshop this is a wonderful alternative. There are s

Yay storms....

Well, Sandy is supposed to be hitting New Hampshire as well as several New England states. We have a really good generator thankfully but it's class I'm more worried about.

Two weeks ago we had about a 4.5 earthquake in the middle of class (thankfully we were done with our exam by then) and while to me that's TINY... the school panicked and canceled class just as we were about to have our next lecture.

That threw us off schedule... and it's difficult to know what needs to be done when the schedule gets messed up. If class gets canceled this week, it'll make us further behind schedule.

Not that I want to drive for an hour to Manchester in the middle of awful weather... I've driven in bad weather plenty of times since I got my license but I don't want to push it.

A part of me doesn't feel like going to class this week. I'm not feeling too well (I hope I'm not coming down with the cold my mom has) and I've been so stressed out lately... and it's gotten worse.

A good friend of mine on Tumblr went missing suddenly. It's been three days now, and a lot of us on there are panicking and worrying ourselves sick about her. It's so unlike her to leave without any kind of warning, let alone for several days. I'm trying to not think the worst has happened, but it certainly hangs over my shoulder every hour that goes by without a response from her...

I just hope that she's safe.

Um... well here's what I do know:

The last time I spoke to her was Friday at 1:53pm just as I was about to leave for volunteer shift (eastern time)

Thursday she let me know that she was attending a Halloween party on Saturday at 6pm.

She has problems with her dad. Her laptop is in the house but since everyone uses it she uses her iPod.

Her Skype status is still on Away (which is what she sets it to when she's not around, including when she sleeps)

She dropped university a couple months ago and is living with her parents.

I don't know what to do... I don't have her phone number and I've asked around without much luck.
